Gen Li

Gen Li obtained a PhD degree in Earth Sciences from the University of Southern California and a BS degree in Geology from Nanjing University. Before joining UCSB, he worked at Caltech as a postdoctoral scholar. Gen's research focuses on the chemical and physical processes that cycle materials and elements in the earth system, and how those processes interplay to make Earth a habitable planet.
